Reverse Osmosis Filtration On Swimming Pool Water

RO Filtration Is The Best For Pool Water

Owning a residential or commercial swimming pool in the Tucson area can be challenging with our hard water Specifically, high levels of calcium, magnesium and other hardness minerals in our tap water can make it more challenging to manage your water chemistry. Not to mention when Calcium Hardness (CH) levels rise in a swimming pool it can cause scaling to your water tile line, interior finish, filtration equipment, spillways, salt chlorinators, and decorative water features. Typically, when talking to anyone in the swimming pool industry, when calcium levels climb above 600 parts per million (ppm) they will recommend a water change.

So, if anyone in the swimming pool industry recommends a water change, we want you to consider us first. We offer the best alternative to a drain and refill and we hope this blog post helps explain why.  At Tucson Pool Water Recycling we proudly offer The Puripool Process which utilizes RO filtration to lower the following in residential and commercial swimming pools:

  • Calcium Hardness
  • Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)
  • Cyanuric Acid (CYA)
  • Phosphates
  • Salts
  • Waterborne Diseases

We do this by way of mobile filtration which means we come to your residential or commercial swimming pool and recycle the water onsite with RO filtration. This will give you, your family, and all bathers the best water quality to swim in. At Foothills, we highly recommend using this service every two years because our water is hard and scaling which will cause expensive damage to your interior finish, tile and filtration equipment if left untreated.

How RO Filtration Works

Reverse Osmosis is a process in which dissolved inorganic solids (such as salts) are removed from a solution (such as water). This is accomplished by water pressure pushing the water through a semi-permeable membrane. The membrane only allows the water to pass through, not the impurities nor the contaminants. These contaminants are removed from the water as both are channeled into two separate systems, and these contaminants are taken to drain to be processed. That means removing all the above issues can be done with our service, there is no need to drain a swimming pool which is dangerous, and we are able to conserve approximately 70% of the existing water in the swimming pools.

At Tucson Pool Water Recycling we are committed to giving you the best water quality and prolonging the lifespan of your investment. If you’re curious as to how our service will help you, contact us today!
